R&D Overview

Erectile Dysfunction and Other Urological Disorders

Stiffening of blood vessels and endothelial dysfunction in diabetes typically results in erectile dysfunction in diabetic or hypertensive patients. Evaluation of inhibitors of advanced glycation endproducts and more recently crosslink breakers in preclinical studies with diabetic rats has indicated the potential for clinical utility of these compounds.
